This is a model Kuwa Mwenyewe Mentorship aimed at advancing efforts towards realization of education for every Pokot child and the general enlightenment of the East Pokot community through Mentorship of primary and high school kids; food security strategies and community economic empowerment projects.
The project’s main aim is to accomplish the Sustainable Development Goals number 4 to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for the Pokot community.
In the long run the project aims to improve the economic standing of the community and improve food security in the region through the same program which in turn serves to accomplish SDG 1, to end poverty in all its forms everywhere; and SDG 2, to end hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture.
The project therefore entails mentorship, talent development programs, food and water security initiatives and community economic empowerment projects.
